How do I modify nameservers?How To: Account Managment

Your DomainIT Account Manager makes changing nameservers easy! If your domain is currently using DomainIT's nameservers, please use the following steps to change your nameservers:

Log-in to to your Account Manager
Click Domains Overview
Click on the domain name you wish to manage
Under "Nameservers", click on the green "Edit" icon
Click "Stop using DomainIT Nameservers"
Enter your new nameservers in the fields below
Click "Update Nameservers"

If you are already using a different provider's nameservers, please follow these steps to change your nameservers:

Log-in to to your Account Manager
Click Domains Overview
Click on the domain name you wish to manage
Under "Nameservers", click on the green "Edit" icon
Click "Delete" next to the nameservers you wish to remove
Click "Add the following Nameservers" and enter your new nameservers
Click "Update Nameservers"

Nameservers updates are immediate in our system, but it can take up to 24 hours for the global nameservers to recognize the update. This is known as propagation.
