Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an improved security measure that requires two forms of identification when accessing your hosting/email control panel: your password and an app generated security code.
To set up 2FA, you must first install a smartphone app such as Google Authenticator, Duo, or Authy to generate your security code.
Once you have set up the authenticator app on your device, you can follow these steps to enable 2FA for your control panel:
1) Login at https://www.domainit.com/myaccount 2) Click "Open Control Panel" 3) Under "Security" click the "Two-Factor Authentication" icon 4) Click “Set Up Two-Factor Authentication” 5) Follow the on-screen steps to complete setup
Going forward, when accessing the control panel you will be prompted for the security code provided by the authenticator app on your device. | |
